David Scouffas
Photography describes but also transforms. I like to photograph the unseen, whether that is making images of places and things seldom visited or perceived, or using photography’s ability to transform to create something normally invisible.
Photography today has access to a wide variety of technologies, media and creative tools. I choose the method best suited to the images I am trying to make.
I’ve adopted a new approach to reaching people who appreciate my work and would like to have my photographs in their homes. I no longer take part in gallery exhibitions, but work directly with collectors. I enjoy having personal, one-on-one relationships with my collectors.
David Scouffas is a San Francisco based artist creating art photography.
